We have all seen pictures and heard stories of Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem. How this very pregnant woman traveled on a donkey all the way from Nazareth. It’s no wonder she went into labor when they got to their destination! But is this really what happened?

Please don’t accost me over this one. I’m just sharing the facts… Many people still falsely believe that Jesus was born on December 25 in the year 1. When we get down to it, no one really knows when Jesus was born. Scripture does tell us some things about his birth though.

There is nothing quite like singing our Christmas carols in church on Christmas Eve. With our voices swelling in a brilliant crescendo in the crisp winter air. It is beautiful!
