It has been forever since I have blogged last. I just found it extremely difficult since beginning in January I challenged my church to read through the Bible in 90 days. So since they were doing it, I felt compelled to do it as well. and I must say, I thought it was wonderful.To read the entire Bible so quickly really allows you to get a great overview of God working through history. Granted, there was a lot I read, that I wish I could have investigated and dug into, but due to the speed, I never had the chance. Fortunately, I wrote most of my questions down and have begun to investigate some of these.
I also began to teach (substitute) at the local high school. I wanted to get out into the community more and get to know the kids. This was a great opportunity and I have absolutely loved it… but again, it took time and so I was not here to blog. All this as well as all the “normal” pastoral duties. I have found myself quite busy.
But now, with our 90 days over, Easter is over, and summer coming (thus substituting coming to a close) I am hopeful to be back on here more regularly. Until next time, if anyone is reading this anymore, fill me in on your Easter break or expectations/plans for summer.
